Batch files or creating somethign which opens a bunch of files simulatnously

I have a bunch of files that start at start-up but sometimes I have to close them all and I would like to be able to have a program to open them all at once so my father just has to click the program and it opens them. This is in Vista I know it is basic and I did it years ago but I searched google and couldn't find anything.

start program.exe

start otherprogram.exe

start anyotherprogram.exe

save as a .bat file and should work, although some commands work differently in vista... instead of a "-" it uses a "/" for some reason

*shrug*

Easy way without having to do much would be to stick all the shortcuts in a folder and just have him highlight them all and press enter.. just incase the batch file doesnt work right
