Ok. My Desktop PC is on its death bed, so I think. Reason being, is that it lags at the shut down screen (been doing that for a LONG time.). It also doesnt respond to anything I do if I dont constantly keep the mouse moving while it starts up. Even that didnt work earlier this morning. In order for it not to "die", there has to be some constant activity going on, so I leave iTunes running. That failed once too. And when the PC is dead, the monior goes to sleep and the orange light is solid. It doesnt flicker like it normally does if the PC was operating correctly. And nothing I do, meaning pressing keys or moving the mouse, makes it breathe again. What could the problem be and what can I do to fix it?

List all components.
When did this problem Start
Using Taskmanager list all processes and how many total.
Do you keep windows up to date?
What Anti virus and Anti Spyware Programs do you use and do you keep them up to date?

most likely, if so why not just reformat drive? reformatting fixes like everything
Cause alot of people don't have XP Discs, or are to lazy to back up their crap.

Course it easier if you got back ups.

Why is it a "Bad Bad PC", When it's the user that makes the PC run terrible?
Because people would rather blame thier PC than realize that it is their actions that cause the PC problems.;)
