Default backup and recovery

If i were to take what i have on my harddrive... backup everything on it... and then recover that backup onto another harddrive... would the harddrive have EVERYTHING the other one had?

Well yeah. Its that the definition of backup? Could also make a Image of the drive as well.

What you need to do is make an image, not a backup.
