this is what you do to seriously scratched discs.

Yea it works pretty good most of the time..I had a CD the my little bro thought it would be cool to lightly carve his intitials into..and it worked at a very low speed in PIO mode..I think I had to drop to 1x...aghh reminded of my first burner I bought in highschool with its 2x max burn speed

lmao, that's crazy. 2x, whats the max CD burners get to now? I know mines 48X and I have CD's the do 52X
