I just got a new computer with windows vista, its just the home version but this computer is just from the home use and I wont really be on it that much. Anyways I was wondering is there any programs out there that I can use (that are free of course) to backup my DVD's? On my xp computer I used DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink. Is there anything like these out for vista? Any help would be great.

Hello,

I'm not sure, since Microsoft have completely revamped the Digital Rights Management subsystem for Windows Vista for both audio and video, making it harder to copy copyrighted content.

Though I've never tried on Vista.

Anything that the industry doesn't like (copying dvd, downloading torrents, etc.), I do that on my xp side of my dual boot system

I use DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, AnyDVD and DVD Region Free + CSS. I have no issues so far on Vista Business Edition.
