this is gonna be long winded.
im trying to back up my laptop so i can install a new(larger) hardrive. the laptop is a thinkpad with a "ibm rapid restore ultra" on the harddrive. there is no restore cd.
ive been trying for two days to succesfully back this thing up. what am i doing wrong? ive tried to back it up on the laptops harddrive and write to disc. ive tried backing it up to my desktops hardrive and writing to dvd rw. nothing is working.
so far i have used windows backup utility and nreo oem edition that came with my dvd burner. please help.
oh, by the way. i think i was on the right track with nero but before it will write to disc it says my disc is not large enough. why wont it just copy to multiple disc's?
