back up problem

I am have set my win 7 computer to backup my documents and favorites every day at 12 am when the office is closed. I have specified it to back up to the server over the network. I can see that it has performed the back up every day, but it says that it is being done at around 8:45am. I have tried leaving my computer logged off, in sleep mode, and locked, when I left for the day, but neither way works. Any ideas as to why it isn't following the schedule?

Are you sure that the network is available at that time and that Server Backup or maintenance is not being done at that time? Your scheduled backup could be set at the same time as the server backup causing your backup to be delayed.

Recreate the backup schedule. That has happen a handful of times to me and i've had to just recreate the backup schedule and run in manually the first time.
