XP (HOME) game crash.

I've been looking in for a couple of days to check out this site. After reading loads of "threads" I realise I am not alone in my ignorance of the intricacies of XP. Also loads of you out there try to help, so here the problem.

I play Empire Earth over my own little network (wireless) of two pc's.

I bought Rally sport Challenge to do the same. A problem with RSC required a sound blaster card. Bought. Installed. RSC now fine.

Meanwhile empire earth which did work now does not. It runs for about ten minutes then crashes back to desk top or sometimes reboots pc.

I tried the technical support for EE and they eventually gave up as "XP" not supported by software.

I've tried formatting PC. loading latest drivers, graphics card-direxct draw. Tried compatability mode. all no good.

My guess is sound drivers. there seems to be too many.

On board sound disabled through BIOS.

Dissable what I can through control panel,- still no good- and they come back to life after a re boot.

What do you "wizzards" suggest.

Attached dxdiag file.
