Hey all,

just wondering what i need to play avi files on quicktime in windows?

divx

download the Klite codec pack:
http://www.free-codecs.com/K_Lite_Codec_Pack_download.htm

choose whichever version you need standard will do, it includes divx Xvid and will play in windows media player, although Id recommend VLC player it handles anything.

miss read your post sorry, not sure if the K lite codec pack will let avi`s run in quicktime. Although why are you using quicktime anyway? its one of the worst players possible up there with real player.

get k-lite 2.27. it will let you play video on 2 monitors at once
