.avi video wont' play

well, I have this video that's in .avi format, and windows media player won't show the video. It gives me the sound, but all the video I get is the f*cking visualizations. Battery Randomization is not Family Guy! Anyway, does anyone know how to get it to play. Quick time won't play it and windows media player won't play it. Someone help me please.

From experiance it is not an AVI file it is an DivX file just renamed to a .avi extension go download DivX and use Windows Media Player then or alternativly just download Mplayer.
