My avg program is running sooooo slow. It took 5 hours and 20 minutes just to scan 41,700 files. I finally gave up and turned it off as it interferes with stuff that I do on the computer. Anyone out there know what could be the problem? I have dsl and windows XP. I also have 4 registry programs that I run and and other software to clean up the adware etc. These programs are not running at the same time so I know there shouldn't be any conflict amonst them. I defrag quite often also. My computer has also slowed down a bit and it seems to take awhile for everything that I try to do. Thanks.
