Default Automatic USB Thumb Drive Backup

In my Comp. Sci. class I save all of my program documents and .cpp files to my thumb drive, since I only get 10MB of space on my personal network drive. What I was looking for is a program that will automatically backup all the files (prefereably only new files to save time) on my usb thumb drive to a folder on my hard drive. Does anyone know of a program that will let me do this?

P.S. What do you call your usb memory stick?
