Default Auto extend

Since installing windows xp pro a couple days ago there seems to be something strange that i cannot figure out. When you click on start and then move the cursor over things such as "my conputer or "my music" or even the stored entries in my favorites in Internet explorer the links do not open automatically. I am forced to click on each link to uncover what it contains. Anyone with a fix?

yep, go to the control panel and choose task bar and start menu.

Then go to the "advance" tab and theer should be choices to check on which sections to expand.
