Auto-detect monitor setting in display Win 7

I need some help fixing a accidental error I made.

While setting up to run a second monitor with my second HDMI jack, I accidently selected the VGA choice, from auto detect in the display settings. I cant find where to change the setting back to auto detect. I have been in BIOS and a few other places, no luck. I want to use the HDMI jack and can't since it is now selected to the VGA jack.

So can any gurus out help me?

you should be able to boot it up in safe mode and from there you can make the changes in your settings
