Sometimes when I boot my computer my audio settings are normal (5.1) but sometimes when I boot they are messed up (they sound like they have converted to stereo or 2.1 or something like that). All I have to do is open the Creative Sound Mixer that came with my soundcard and then click on speaker settings and they automatically convert back to 5.1 and the sound quality increase quite a bit. How do I "freeze" my audio settings so that everytime I boot my music sounds normal? I would say that I need to set them to 5.1 as default but I think that they already are! Any suggestions?
