ATI Driver Install: Access Denied

Right, i think i made it a bit unclear. When i downloaded it, it downloads as a single file that you start up and choose the destination. It does all that bit, but like Eric was saying when i click on the Setup bit after going to the extracted folder, it says access is denied where it says ''Ati software is preparing the InstallShield wizard, which will guide you through the rest of the installation'' kind of message.
My dad spent 4 hours last night and somehow managed to get the drivers on (I don't know how, it still says access denied) he did some weird stuff.
But i really need the catalyst controll center to turn off Vysnc because my soundcard has terrible interference when it is on.
I'll try what you said eric.

I followed this page, i was very doubtfull but willing to try anything: Q110719: The InstallShield Engine (iKernel.exe) Could Not Be Launched. Access Is Denied.
Now it works fine
