Default ATi Catalyst

Ive read about it on the ati website but im still not exactly sure if i need it and the benefits of it.

I currently have a ATi RADEON X300, do you recommend that i install this driver?

uhhhhh, yeah, you kind of need it to optimize games and your card, it's pretty much a must have thing....

If you don't use Catalyst you will use Windows generic SVGA drivers, and thats not pretty in any way.

a lot of time, you can get higher frame rates when you update them
