annoying shutdown message "end now addinmon.exe"?

every time i shut down my comp i get an annoying message that says "ending process addinmon.exe" and unless i press end now it will never shut down. it shows that it is ending the process but when it finishes it doesn't do anything .

any help would be great.

Try Run > msconfig click the startup tab and see if the process is listed. If it is uncheck the check box next to it so that it doesen't start the next time you startup windows.

Also check your startup folder Start>programs>Startup

I think that this problem is realted to Outlook. And I don't think that using msconfig to stop will help becaause it will startup when you start Outlook anyways. This app. should help. Let me know if it does, or if you find something else that does.

What would lead you to believe that this issue is caused by Outlook?

that could be the problem because it started when i installed Micorsoft office.

addinmon_exe is part of the ZoneAlarm security suite, and monitors Outlook addins.
