the first step is finding the make and model then getting the chipset and get the latest drivers for each component also if hes playing any modern games , that take up the whole screen, you may need to invest in a graphics card but it all depends on what games he plays let us know what games he plays and we can assist you more.

I hope Well, I put in the name of the right card, and your video card's company is from Trident, so you shouldn't have a problem. (It was also the only one available on the website)

Is this a brand name comp, or a custom built one?

brand name i think.also do i need the chipset drivers or just the others and if i do how do i findwhat all my stuff is?????

on the original disk the had the driver they where via ac97 4 in 1 drivers that was the audio and trident was the video

usually confused all this stuff clogs my brain
