all my videos are playing dark? HELP??

Ok so any movie (avi , mpg so on) and DVD that i play in either WMP or DVD X PLayer pro or any other player i've downloaded to test this, is playing dark. As if i lowered brightness half way down.. Now its all been working fine for 7months, since i loaded windows on new machine i built.

Then all of a sudden yesterday they're dark.i didnt install anything new having to do with codecs or anything like that. and NO its not my monitor either because everything else is nice and bright. any help here?

could be a firmware or driver issue with your card, have you checked for updated SW?

also, check to see if there's any setting that might effect this, within your advanced settings for you video card

some non stable nvidia drivers are known to do that

hmm that was weird. i just installed new ATI drivers and everything back to normal. NEver had that happen before. thanks
