Default AGP Aperture set to 126mb? Can i set it to 256mb?

Well i went into the system info screen on start up and then i went to MEMORY INFO i noticed that the AGP APERTURE was set to 128 mb and can go to 256mb. What does this do if i would change it and is it a good idea to change it or just keep it the same? This probaly has nothing to do with it but here are my specs. Windows Xp home Edition, Pent 4 3.0 gig ,1 gig of memory soon to be 2 gig Radeon 9800 xt. Soundblaster Live . Thanks for looking,.
