After updating WinXP computer wont load

ok... so i reinstalled windows again... i installed the drivers before the service pack... and again... it worked great... until i installed win xp SP3... at which point i got stuck in the same loop i described at the start of this thread... what should i do?

Are you getting this file from Windows Update or did you bring it with you? Did you try to download the IT version of XP SP3?

I have a file that I used on my computer, that I tried on my girlfriends computer, but that didnt work. So I re-installed windows again and I just let windows update do the downloading for me. And again, I came across the exact same problem.

Not that this will fix the problem, but it would hurt to have the latest bios. I wonder if a copy of XP with SP3 slipstreamed into it would work.
