Angry Adobe Reader Problems??

I keep having problems with the Adobe Reader. Everytime I try to open up a PDF document a window pops up and says a problem has occured and then another window comes up that says AcroRd32.exe-Application Error the memory could not be read. Anybody know what I can do??

as of about 2 months ago, to all my clients, i'm recommending using foxit pdf reader...standalone app(no need for install) very small and very fast.
