Adobe reader 7.0

hi,
since i update my adobe reader to 7.0 , it doent work smoothly ..

let say i double click on pdf file , the adobe reader will pop up , but no file is open, i have to click open file,.. then only works .

Can someone tell me how can i change the setting so that when i double click pdf file and will come out

In the past, I have instructed people to uninstall the previous versions then re-installing the latest version you have.
