alright so im makeing my friends a account on my computer ik what a good friend haha well i dont want them to get into my external hd anyways to block them out and not myself? if so please share!

Are you running windows XP Home or Pro?

If you're running pro, just right click on the hard drive and go to the security tab. Then edit the permissions so that their account cannot read or write to the drive (basically remove all the check boxes for the allow column).

I'd get you the exact instructions, but I'm on my mac right now...

I am running pro see i guess it all kinda worked itself out cuz all i wanted was to make sure they couldent delete things or add things and it doesnt let them do it with out being the admin so it all worked out but hey thanx anyways
