Address books

I have a problem importing address books into outlook express

i just upgraded from win me to win xp and when i tried to import my backed up address books when i first set it up it worked fine.

However, I then reset my address book to reimport it and it says 'the address book has been locked by another application, please close the other application and try again'

i have checked my applications and nothing was running when i tried to import it except the outlook express function

does anyone know what is wrong with this?

Have you downloaded the windows update for journal viewer? Go to the windows update site. That should fix the problem.
