I was reading some stuff about boot.ini and it said i could add DOS in my boot.ini

I am running Windows XP SP1, can you guys tell me how to add DOS if it is possible to my boot.ini

That is a little tricky because DOS is not part of WinXP's Operating System anymore. WinXP has a "DOS emulator" so in order to run that I believe XP has to be running... which defeats the Dual Boot purpose.

Dual boot with XP

What i understand is with XP you can also install W9x.But thats all i can add.How you choose and install i'm workeing on.
I have Wme and quite happy.
:)

Hi rookie1010 nice to meet you !
Best way is to make multiboot with win98, this os version is best for old games and also support DOS mode

how about windows2000 instead of windows 98, does it support DOS.

i have got a 20 gig hard drive, how much space should i give windows xp, windows2000 (if i am to use it instead of windows 98) or windows 98 and linux. i am thinking i will leave about 6 gigs for data.
