add/remove programs

On the add/remove programs list I am trying to remove wild tangent web drivers and yahoo mail. Whenever I click the change/remove button, nothing happens. Wild Tangent has been completely wiped out with Spybot and Yahoo! has been deleted from program files. If anyone can help me get these two things off the list, I would appreciate it.

Use a shredder or remove them freom the registry

Find this key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\
Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

Find the unwanted entries and remove them.
