Default Add-ons in XP/SP2/IE7

I can enable or disable add-ons but I want to remove them completely.

So far I have been told that the only way is to uninstall IE7 and re-install
but, if possible, I want to remove them (about 40) without unistalling.

Can anyone help please?

There is a Manage Add On option. Doesnt that allow you to remove them as well?
