Default ActiveX problems Never Solved 4 months

Hello all, for some reason over the past 4 MONTHS I have not been able to run ActiveX controls when going to websites. I went to run a scan on my PC with panda active scan and get this message. "Your security settings do not allow websites to use ActiveX controlls that are installed on computer" This page may not display correctly. I have been to numerous forums with the problem not solved. I click defaults under options, ect and nothing same thing. Computer is clean of bugs, ect. Any advice on how to fix this problem? It also happens when I go to office update won't let ActiveX controls and every site that is ActiveX enabled does not work.

I have been to numerous other forums, they have had me run .dll's ect, nothing...We have been in and out of different settings with nothing new happening. Any experts care to chime in on the issue???
thanks

IE go to Tools, Manage Add-ons, and update the active x controls for both..
