Default Acer Laptop display stretched

We are trying to figure out how to get our laptop screen to revert back to its` original view. My daughter had hooked it up to our wide screen TV and now the computer screen is stretched horizontally on every screen including the desktop. Any ideas?

first you can try , right click desktop, properties. settings change the resolution

if that doesnt work then you can always try to download new video drivers and install them

Thanks!
What should the resolution be? Or is there a default?
