nope.
codec packs causes problems.its best not to install one.
install divx,xvid,and ac3 filter and you have most of the bases covered.
if a video file needs a differant codec,open it in gspot http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ to see which codec it needs.
divx and wvid is certainly the best for reading .avi all that stuff.
but i'v installed K lite codec pack on my comp and i never never have problem with that and i'v been using it for 'bout a year.
