Default 98 PC issue

Win 98 se machine.... My computer boots up, after does the memory count and just stops. What things should I check for please?

Yes, that would definitely help alot.

Also, is the computer bootable? I'm assuming that the answer would be no.

Could this problem be related to your other one "System error"? Because it sounds like your system has some bad RAM. And it’s Windows 98 so it’s quite familiar with problems.

P.s win 98 blue screens alot from my experience but yeh probably bad ram

Me too. Seeing as though your computer freezes exactly after the memory check, I think you've got bad RAM.

You could access the CMOS and BIOS and try and disable it.
