Default 64 Bit Games

I intend on getting a new 64 bit amd proccessor. Does anyone know of any software apart from the new windows OS which wil use 64 bit technology? any games in particular?

The new Windows will be able to run 64-bit and 32-bit applications. However, 64-bit apps can't run on a 32-bit OS, so there are no 64-bit games at the moment.

There are several 64-bit Linux distributions though.
