This is the second time this has happened the last time was in my last install of Win98SE. Both times it has worked for a few weeks about 5 weeks fine. But now, it has the load screen, which says "Initializing 3ds max" then "Loading plugins: [names of plugins]", after this it disappears, 3ds Max no longer loads up.
I tried running Enditall a program which automatically closes or kills all applications running(apart from unsafe ones) to clear up resources, thinking lack of them was the problem but to no avail. For certain reasons I can't use Discreet's support. I'm pretty sure it's not my small 256mb RAM since it worked for several weeks before and I didn't even save anything or change any configuration settings. Why does it stop working?
Oh yeah please do not move this I posted in the OS and software forum got no replies.
