2x Firewall questions

Hey, a question, on my pc I just noticed that I have 2x firewalls, one that's built in on my router [annoying as ****, interferes with my gaming] and zone alarm.

Now, the only way to disable the one on the router, is to use the DMZ feature which puts me outside of the firewall.. a question, am I now prone to hackers and all that, or am I now protected with zone alarm?

If you have the firewall disabled, Zone Alarm will protect you just as good. The only difference is that you have the option of letting certain IP addresses into your computer.

i agree with talldude but i wouldn't DMZ anyways just forward the ports that you need rather than open yourself wide open.

When I open the ports, nothing happens and it's annoying me :S

you also have to unblock them in ZA as well.
