Default 2 win xp home OS's on 1 hard drive?

I want to have 2 win xp on 1 hard drive , i already have 2 partitions C:\ which is win xp and D:\ which is storage and I left 3 gig of unused hard drive for another partition.

I tried to install another partition using the installation disk but it kept asking me if i wanted to install a fresh copy over my already installed windows xp.

I have partition magic so it's no prob moving memory and drives partitions around.

is there a way to install 2 win xp os's on one hdd? and how? and can I give them a boot menu to choose between the 2 on start up?

It can be done. I dual boot XP and Vista with no problem. But during the setup after you create the partition dont install over. Create a new isntall and choose the extra partition. You should have the option to do that during setup.

The boot menu will automatically add both OS's to it.
