2 firewalls or not 2 firewalls ?

i'm running 2 firewalls.. pc-cillin 2002 and norton personal 2003 .

not noticed any probs and kinda like the idea of extra security.

whats your opinions on runnin two firewalls, forsee any probs..?

I personally don't use two firewalls because they usaully conflict with each other. If I did use to firewalls, one would be a hardware firewall and the other would be software -- for the same reason above, conflict issues plus better security.

But hey, if you have them running together and you don't have any conflicts- more power to you!

Yea, 2 software firewalls can work together but can also be quite the headache when playing games online and such. 1 good firewall should be fine or like Guy said, 1 hardware and 1 software.
I personally haven't heard about Symantec Personal having any problems with pc-cillin 2002 and I try my best to keep up with Symantec's site...

Can you say redundant?

Seriously though, a good firewall closes all your ports and does so without being too intrusive. Two good firewalls close all your ports and do so while wasting valuable system resources. Find one (1) that works, and leave it at that
