Default 2 CPU's installed?!?!

Hello, I've had this problem before reformatting also, it might be a reason why my computer is not performing to its full capacity. Apparently even after reformatting, it still shows as 2x P4 3.20GHz processors showing... I dont know what to do. I have the option to "uninstall" from the driver manager, I just dont know which one to uninstall, and whether it will mess up my computer?

Here are some screenie:

Yeah, that's probably it. Hyper-threading tricks the OS into thinking there's two available processors.

Yes I have Hyper Threading.. does the 2 cpu's have anything to do with my performance? How can I make it run like it used to? I tried the reformating + registry hacks.

maybe it is dual core and windows is doing something strange with it.

"So the whole 'We have a list and we're not telling you' should tell you something. Don't you think that if Microsoft actually had some really foolproof patent, they'd just tell us and go, 'nyaah, nyaah, nyaah!'?"

Are you sure that's the problem? Are you sure it isn't just nothing?

Hyper-Threading tricks the operating system into thinking your 1 processor is actually 2. That explains your "0n0z! t3h t\/\/0 CpU'z !n t3h my PC!!!1" thing.
