[1]...?why does this happen?

Everytime I download something I get a [1] added to the file name. I do alot of online gameing and if I dont delete it I get alot of file mismatches.Anyway to stop it from happening?

mine usually says 2 after if i download the same thing twice...sorry but all i can say maybe its a simmilar problem what are you using to download (browser,download manager, p2p....etc)

i am not real good with computers but i dont use anything i guesse to download i just hit download and save it on my desk top.
