I have a folder named

077b28fa4c13e9b12a0e3421dadb4594

in my main drive... I can't delete it... (it just stays there, if I try to delete anything inside it says its in access)

is this a virus? or some cache from my PC? what is it!?

inside it has a bunch of files entitled "eula.xxxx" (the xxxx are different numbers), "locdata.xxxx", setupres.xxx" etc.

access is denied... so should I delete it as makaveli said?

and another question...

the windows folder in total reports itself as 5 gigs... is that normal? I'm running Windows XP Media Center Edition

edit: another question

I added up all the total memory usage of the various folders in the C:\ drive and it only added up to around 170 gigs... I have a 250 GB hard drive that formatted to 232... so where is the 50 gigs that isn't listed?

Yea, kill it then.

My XP Home windows folder is 3.1GB.

Also, how free space do you have? Also, reserved system space is not shown.

Delete the folder. Also run CCleaner and free up some space. Check in the Winows folder for uninstallers from updates. Must have hidden files showing.
