zv5330us laptop battery?

girlfriend got me a new battery for my zv5330us hp laptop.
says it is a 346970-001 Li-on 14.8v 4400mah battery, fits computer but when I boot with battery in, the bios comes up with an error(battery not right type) and will not go any further. Everything I read says this battery should work.

The battery that was originaly in it was a 346971-001 14.8v 6mah.
The new battery will run after it boots

Any way to turn off the error message?

Have you tried resetting your BIOS?

Could you provide the exact error message that appears on the screen?

Yes I have reflashed my bios with V.45 with the battery installed installed. Still same error.
After further investigation tho- I have found the company who sold her the battery said it was for a zv5000 series HP, but when I got to their website and looked the battery up it says it is for a 6000 series HP. HMMMM..
Lot of sites have the wrong info I think.
Ill repost the exact error messge when I reboot this thing.

Ok.. Complete error message reads as following
"WARNING the system has detected an incorrect battery for this unit. Using the wrong battery will cause you to experience poor system performance and a possible system shut down. To avoid further issues, please install the correct battery immediately"

Hello,

The only support information I could find regarding this issue is this: HP Notebook PCs -  Windows Does Not Detect the Battery Properly or Displays an Incorrect Battery Detected Error Message  . I've also come across a similar case where a user removed the battery, and the problem disappeared.
