xga, sxga, wxga, use different ccfl backlight?
so the ebay seller i bought 2 bulbs from is telling me that those 3 types of screens need different backlight.
which i suspect is BS to cover up for bad quality of backlight they sell.
in another post i asked about the screen being dimmer than original after replacing ccfl.
well i looked on google and did not find any info on that.
dell700m turned out as dim as the failing backlight i replaced. (WXGA)
was shorter than original.
IBM T41 turned out alot dimmer than original failing backlight (SXGA)
this one was exactly size and diameter of the original and fit right in.
from what i understand the inverter is made to power specific(lenght, diameter) bulb. since there is no filament, its all gas the identical size ccfl bulb should light up same brightness.(unless its dying)
I HATE FIREFOX!!!!!!!I don't care if its what you use!!! I use IE and will continue using it...
