Default Work laptop range $400-1000

I am interested in buying a laptop for work. The laptop would primarily be used at my residence but, occasionaly need to be brought into warehouse. I am not worried about the software beacause it will be provided by the employer. The range would be from 400 to 1000. I would like it to last at least two years. I would not need until October. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
