Wireless help

I have an Acer Aspire 9500 laptop and when i plug in or unplug the power cord from it the wireless internet button automatically turns off. I am curious if there is a way that I can have it stay on when i plug in or unplug my laptop.

It's possible it's in your power settings. Go into your control panel and check Windows Power Options (or whatever it's called now). Acer might have their own power setting scheme, too. That would be in control panel also.

It might be down to the performance settings as jorsoft said, what you need to do is see what it is set at in Vista there is a setting that only leaves the basics things on such as hard drive, monitor an keyboard an mouse all other power is turned off.

Yes if its vista your using my pc did the same if it went into standby the wireless would turn off.
