Lenovo has a netbook (mini like Dell 9) that I would be interested in if I were a windows user.
But if I were going to buy one, I'd go with the eee 901/1000h purely because its battery life is known to get 6-7 hours and there are alot of third parties making accessories and spare batteries. It is also linux-friendly which is a big plus for me. The 1000h, however, comes packaged with windows for ~$500.
There are alot of Netbooks for cheap. Msi Wind, Dell inspiron 9, Lenovo Ideapad S10, Acer Aspire One, Sylvana Gnetbook, Cloudbook, ect, ect, but they're all VERY similar except for the price and a few things different. What stands out about the EEE is its battery life. At least the versions of the EEE running the atom.
