Early i went to pick up my dads laptop that was sitting on my bed open, i grabbed it directly under the webcam on the outer plastic shell around the main screen, when i picked it up, it made a cracking sound and immediately a couple mm wide vertical white line with a TINY pink/red line is a little space away from it appeared down dead center of my screen. i know i need a new screen but what i was wondering is: i own a acer aspire 5532, the specifications for the screen are : Type - 15.6 in.. Max Res. - 1366 x 768 (WXGA).. it is a widescreen.. and Color Support - 16.7 million colors.. Features CineCrystal. This is what i found online when i searched. If i was going to switch my screen, now would it need to be the EXACT same Specs. or can it be any 15.6 in screen with the same max resolution. all answers are greatly appreciated. thanks!
