Question Whats the difference?

Between a graphics controller and a graphics card? I wont to buy a Asus M4A78LT-M Skt AM3 DDR3 Motherboard but it says it has a ATI Radeon HD 3000 Graphics Controller, if that means it has an integrated graphics card then i do not want it.

That is exactly what it means. The graphics device is onboard not a separate card.

Yes, it has an integrated card. You can always add a Graphic card separate. They have integrated, for people that do not benefit from a beefy graphic card.

@MindoverMaster: Really? even know there's an integrated one on the motherboard i can still get another better one and use it with that same motherboard?

Yes. As long as you have the PCI-E 2.0 slot, you can add any gfx card later. When you plug in a card, BIOS will automatically switch the video to the card.

I've done it several times.
