Apart from the Display size, it seems like a good deal there.

Try having a look at what MSI might be offering as they are competely heavily with Asus in the laptop market.

ASUS N81Vp Review

And heres the price

ASUS N81Vp-C1 Laptop Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 2.66GHz, 14'' HD 16:9 (1366x768) LED Display, 4GB, 320GB HDD, DVD Super Multi Drive, ATI HD4650 1GB Graphics Card, Vista Home Premium - N81Vp-C1 - Buy.com

I know eventually i'll want a laptop when im in school for homework but also for gaming.
HOw does this laptop fit the budget performance wise?
Is it worth it or is there something out there that can be better?

Looks good... the monitor is small, but the slightly lower-end GPU makes up for that...

It's good, but it's no Mac :)

It looks to be solid for gaming, not a crysis killer or anything, but you knew that. It'll play games well I'm sure.

i dont want a huge screen especially if i have to take it to every city i goto!
Plus i checked out the benchmarks and its pretty good for a laptop.
I think it beats the 9600gt ...and it'll be able to play all the recent games in med-high settings.

I'm gonna keep an eye out on this till i get money to buy it.
It fits my budget plus i havnt seen a nother laptop with this size or smaller that has a good cpu/gpu combo!

Thanks guys!
