Webcam Woes !!

Hello guys , am using Acer's eMachine E727 laptop .....When am trying to access the camera an error pops up saying " camera is not installed or occupied by another user " ...I've tried everything including re-installing my driver ,now am out of ideas , please help guys ...Thank you !!

Could possibly be that you've got another application open already that's using the camera? Skype?

Could be a startup process that controls your Webcam. Therefore, it is being used by a different program. I'd look in run > msconfig and look at the startup tab. See if anything is pertaining to your webcam.

checked msconfig thing ....i can't see any application pertaining to webcam ...plz help !!
